the Amsterdam photographs

Besides the amazing surprise party my friends threw me in March, they also gave me a professional photo-course! They picked travel photography as subject, couldn't be more perfect! For one whole day my 9 fellow students and I walked through the beautiful Amsterdam, while a professional photographer instructed us and gave tips as much as possible. We were forced to look for things true tourists would look for. It was weird playing the tourist in a city I know so well!

It's amazing how much I've learned in just these few hours! Here are some of the (404 to be exact!) pics I shoot that day, enjoy!

Autumn photography

Autumn in the Netherlands. It's definitely not my favourite season, but it does have its charms! It's not yet freezing outside (although it does feel that way to me!) , and those beautiful coloured leaves are literally EVERYWHERE. Perfect time to take some pictures right?

I spend the afternoon working in the restaurant, serving 2 private parties (one of them being a Sinterklaas party!) so I'm tired as hell now. How did you spend your sunday? (:

I was sooo scared taking this picture! The wind was blowing (it was storming really), and trees were flying everywhere! (;

Knock Knock

When trying to find the perfect birthday present for one of my best friends, I came across this great brand Knock Knock. I (And I'm sure I'm not the only one!) have this obsession with everything notebook and notepad-ish. If you think so too, this brand definitely comes close to heaven! (:
