the Postcrossing - I

I can't believe I have never posted anything about postcrossing yet!
"Send a postcard and receive a postcard back from a random person in the world!"

Amazing idea right? The best part of this project is that you receive postcards from literally all over the world. Especially when the mailer tells me a little about the place on the postcard, it inspires me to actually go there once. (Even places like Ukraine, I know! (; ) Moreover, every time I find a postcard on the mat I get this happy feeling inside of me. Just the idea that someone took the time to actually write a small message for you on a beautiful piece of paper, snail mail is the best!

 I always go c-r-a-z-y in creating envelopes and cute packages. These are a few of my creative outbursts:

This letter is for someone I've been mailing with for a while now, a true pen-pal!

the Recall

A few days ago I realized I'd passed the 100th followers! I don't exactly blog on regular basis as you know, but still so many people have pushed that follow bottom! Thank you so so so so much! I get so happy when reading all your comments and I read the blogs of my visitors on a regular basis too!

Since 100 is such a beautiful number, I figured it might be time for a quick recall. The following posts have somehow stayed with me and I'd love to show you them again!

the Cherry Cheesecake recipe

Cherry Cheesecake probably is the most appreciated pie I've ever made. I have never shared a recipe with you guys before, but hey; no rules on this blog! (:

Don't you think it just looks delightful?

You don't need an oven in order to make this pie. The directions are easy and the result it delicious!

Ingredients:

Directions:

1. Crumble the biscuits.

2. Melt the butter in a saucepan

3. Pour the melted butter on the crumbled biscuits. Stir until everything is mixed well, and put the mixture in a springform.

4. Start creaming the whipped cream together with the vanilla sugar.

5. Mix the cream cheese with the regular sugar in the meantime.

6. Put the whipped cream and the cream cheese together, mix slowly.

7. Pour the white mixture on top of the biscuit-bottem. Let the cake rest for 2 hours.

8. Pour the fruit flan on top of the cake, and you´re done!

The Thursday tumblr top ten

Today is one of those days that there is literally no point in going to school. Luckily our class was given a dose of laptops, in order to entertain ourselves. Ipod on shuffle and tumblr present; I found these beautiful pictures.

In a few hours the 4-day-eastern weekend will start, can't wait!

the Sunset

Since today was one of the first sunny days in what feels like years, I went out with a friend to photograph the sunset. While photographing I realized how beautiful this enormous shining thing is! What would the world look like without it?

Whereas my father loves to watch all the visitors of our garden, I love to photograph them. (: While still figuring out how my camera works exactly, I took these photos! There are not enough words to describe how happy I still am with my new camera! What do you think of these photos? Any tips?
