Back to school, it's not that bad!

Two months of no obligations. Two months of reasonably good weather. Two months in which it didn't matter what time we went to bed, and what time we came out of it. These incredibly good two months have passed. It's over. Au revoir summer holiday!

Most of the time people see going back to school or work as a bad bad thing. These few points might however change your mind! (They made me look forward to this school year a little!)

 A fresh start of a new year! You''ll have the change to keep up all the work from the start. You get to use your brand new notebooks and planner, which are ready to be destroyed! (; Maybe you're doing something completely new this year, like a new school, study or job. How exciting is that!

1 week, a month or even two months. It has been a while since you and your school friends have ALL been together! Finally there is enough time to catch up with all of them. School is there to learn something; but at all times you have to remember; YOLO! (You Only Life Once) I spend a great deal of time on school laughing and having fun. We can finally giggle about the weird clothes our math teacher is wearing, and we check out that cute new PE teacher or classmate. Laughing in class with your friends; I've definitely missed that!

A new season is approaching, meaning; time to update your closet!

Your life will get a little regular again.The past two months consisted of NO planning and NO hurry. I didn't have a routine AT ALL.  I feel like my body needs a little routine again.

You'll appreciate every free day you'll have. Weekend is something you can look forward to during the week. Besides, school isn't the same as prison. You can still hang out with friend after school, at nights and during weekends!

School trips are on the schedule! In 6 weeks I'll be in Prague with the two bilingual classes, we've all been excited since we heard this four years ago!

New season means; new episodes of our favourite series! I'll post something about that soon!

I love you summer holiday. But I guess we have to say goodbye for now. In a few months our paths will cross again! (:

Moleskine Travel Journal

Anything by Moleskine is absolutely great, but the 'Passions' collection is perfect. I like the Travel Journal the most, because it allows you to create a simple and clear report from every journey you make. There is space to fill your own timetable and standard checklist, and the journal looks just gorgeous, don't you think? On top of that, it contains useful information like 'Temperature and Days of Rain' and 'Time zones'.

On the front of the journal is a timetable printed. Subtle and original!

You can easily sort your trips according to their length.  The longer the journey, the more pages to fill!

These stickers can be used to personalize your journal. As you can see, I haven't used them yet! (;

Before the trip you can write down the facts of your journey.

During and after the trip you can write about all your memorable moments and stick your photos here!

Wreck this Journal

For ages I wanted to have the book; Wreck This Journal by Keri Smith. Last year my mother gave it to me on Christmas, and since then I'm addicted! I often have those 'creative moods', in which I want to make or do artistic things. The only problem is that I most of the times don't have any idea what to make or do, until I got this book!

On every page (and I have no idea how many pages there are, since you have to write your own page numbers, and I haven't done that yet!) you can find an 'assignment' to destroy your personal journal. On the first page for instance you have to write your name, in 7 different ways; My friend's journal:

This doesn't sound like destroying yet, but on one of the following pages you find this assignment;

This book is perfect for me! With a little help, and some hints from Keri Smith, you're slowly destroying and at the same time creating the book. Last week I wanted to paint a page, and by accident a glass filled with a water and paint mixture went over the book. I hated it at first, and was frustrated that I ruined it all. But than I realised again; destroying is creating!

It's such a shame that I can only post 3 pictures per post, but more photo's will follow!
